Will Dewitt is the intern with more hope than health insurance. Wide-eyed, eager, and tragically optimistic, Will truly believes hard work will get him noticed. He says “yes” to everything, mistakes exploitation for mentorship, and still thinks exposure counts as compensation. Will isn’t paid enough to cover subway fare, but he does get free pizza if he stays late enough. He dreams of climbing the corporate ladder, blissfully unaware it’s broken and leaning against nothing. For now, he fetches coffee, builds decks no one reads, and signs every email with “Best, Will” — as if that makes him sound professional. Will enjoys wearing company swag unironically, and telling friends he’s “basically part of the team.”
